Capping off today’s VNPR extraviganza, we have the audio from a numbers station. These things can sometimes be found on shortwave radios, and generally seem to consist of a woman or child repeating numbers or letters. Supposedly they’re used to broadcast information to spies, but that’s more of an educated guess than a fact.
Regardless, they’re generally pretty unnatural sounding, and the hollow-eyed doll girl whose picture graces this video is creepy to boot. For the impatient, the festivities actually start at 1:20.
