Wow. I was seriously wary when I heard that Jon Favreau’s follow-up to Iron Man 2 was a movie called Cowboys & Aliens, but now that I’ve seen this trailer, it’s shot right to the top of my must-watch list! It’s been a great day for previews, hasn’t it? Here’s some plot details from FirstShowing:
Daniel Craig plays Jake Lonergan, a stranger with no memory of his past who stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. But the town is soon invaded by aliens and Jake must pull together a posse comprised of former opponents to combat these extraterrestrials.
Haha! So awesome. Count me in! In addition to Daniel Craig, Cowboys & Aliens also stars Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Clancy Brown and…Harrison Ford?! Hells yeah!
Cowboys & Aliens hits theatres on July 29th, 2011, and, remarkably, it won’t be in 3D! I can’t wait.
