Minnie Driver is a British actress who, though not very many acting credits to her name, has done some very memorable work. She made appearances in GoldenEye and Sleepers, then got some bigger roles for Grosse Pointe Blank and Good Will Hunting. She did the voice of Jane in Tarzan and the voice of Brooke Shields in South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut. She starred with David Duchovny in the rom-com Return to Me (then had a cameo in an episode of “The X-Files” in the same year) and made a hiliarous appearance in the otherwise forgettable film adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera. I like her because she is subtly quirky and haphazardly dignified…if that makes sense.
