Before They Were Stars: Jessica Biel in a McDonald’s Commercial

I’ve gotten a lot of attention recently for showcasing Jessica Biel’s obscure acting debut in the short film, It’s a Digital World, so I figured I would give her the “Before They Were Stars” treatment again. Here she is at the age of 14 in this McDonald’s commercial hyping up their brand-new burger, the Arch Deluxe. For those of you who don’t remember, there was a massive $300 million advertising campaign for the Arch Deluxe during this time period, but the burger failed to catch on and was discontinued pretty quickly, making it one of the expensive marketing flops of all time. Maybe casting Jessica Biel in one of their commercials and not giving her any lines was just bad karma.
