If you grew up in the 1990s, then odds are good you remember Hallie Kate Eisenberg, a child actress who hit it big after starring in a series of popular Pepsi commercials.
These ads helped launch Eisenberg’s career, and yes, in case you were wondering, she is Zombieland and The Social Network actor Jesse Eisenberg’s sister. Unfortunately, Hallie Eisenberg’s career peaked much earlier than her brother’s, and after appearing in the movies Paulie, The Insider, and Bicentennial Man, she kind of dropped off the map.
Since 1999’s Bicentennial Man, Eisenberg has appeared in films such as Jesus, Mary and Joey, How to Eat Fried Worms, P.J., and Holy Rollers. I wonder if, now that Jesse Eisenberg has shot to stardom, we’ll ever see a collaboration between the Eisenberg siblings. Maybe in the form of, say, a Pepsi commercial?
