Before They Were Stars: Chloe Sevigny in a Sonic Youth Music Video

Before her memorable debut performance in Larry Clark’s controversial film, Kids, Chloe Sevigny started out as a fashion model and made the odd appearance in music videos. In 1993, the 18-year old Sevigny made her first appearance in front of a film camera when she appeared in the music video for the Sonic Youth song, “Sugar Kane”. Foreshadowing the lack of inhibition she would display in many of her film roles, the video climaxes with Chloe walking naked down a model’s runway.
