Before They Were Stars: Jon Hamm on “Gilmore Girls”

You’ve probably heard Jon Hamm recount his struggles to make it as an actor for several years and how he was relegated to working as a set designer on a porn film at one point. When he finally started getting work, it was mostly for very small roles, like this episode of Gilmore Girls where he gets a grand total of 80 seconds of screen time over the course of two scenes. But, hey, it’s still better than his one-line film debut as “Young Pilot#2” in Space Cowboys.
