You may have vague memories of a forgettable Disney movie from 1995 called A Kid in King Arthur’s Court where Thomas Ian Nicholas of Rookie of the Year and American Pie fame plays a kid who’s transported back in time to sixth-century Camelot where he winds up interacting with King Arthur and his knights. The movie didn’t exactly set the world on fire, but it is notable for featuring early roles for two current big-name stars: Kate Winslet and Daniel Craig. In fact, this was only Winslet’s second film role after Heavenly Creatures, and if you look at her early filmography, which is filled with critically acclaimed dramas and Oscar-winning films, you’ll probably start singing “One of These Things is Not Like the Other”.
