Yale University Uploads American Literature Lectures

Cormac McCarthy’s masterpiece Blood Meridian gets its academic dues in one of Yale University’s uploaded lectures for its American Novel Since 1945 course (ENG 291). The professor doesn’t seem as zealous about the novel as I am, but she definitely gives it a fair analysis and criticism. Yale has also uploaded other lectures onto YouTube as well. Other lectures include Jack Kerouac’s best known work On the Road and Philip Roth’s novel The Human Strain. It’s all very insightful, and you don’t even have to attend Yale to see them!
