Ok, this is a Celebrity Birthday of the Day first: I have a tie. You see, I could not choose between M. Night Shyamalan and Geri Halliwell, so I chose both. I think the mere fact that I am placing M. Night on the same level as Geri goes to show just how far he has fallen in recent years. He started out amazing, but somewhere along the line got lost in the crowd. I have chosen him based on his early work with The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, and Signs. While I did enjoy his other films, except for Lady in the Water, which put me to sleep (ironic, now that I think about that), I know most people hate them. As for Geri Halliwell, anyone who knows me can attest to the fact that I am a big Spice Girls fan. I have all of their albums and even own Spiceworld. How could I pass up a chance to gush about one of those five fabulous ladies? So, to M. Night Shyamalan, hopefully hopefully your upcoming Devil will be reminiscent of your earlier successes. And to Geri, you will always be Ginger in my heart! Happy birthday to both of you!
