Today we celebrate the anniversary of the day the world was blessed with the birth of J.K. Rowling. What do I really have to say about her? She is a classic rags-to-riches story (just waiting for the inevitable bio-pic) who has given the world Harry Potter, the most lucrative children’s book series of all time. Her novels have become the biggest box office franchise in cinematic history. That is really all anyone can say about Rowling, right? Long live Harry Potter!
