Happy birthday to Daniel Dae Kim. Now I know what you’re thinking: “Come on, Mike, you just had a former “Lost” cast member as your celebrity birthday yesterday!” Why yes I did. But you know what? It was extremely pathetic to see how giddy I got when I realized there were two actors from “Lost” whose birthdays were side by side. Now, I have seen some of the movies he has been in, though almost never noticed him, as he plays a lot of background characters. But thanks to J.J. Abrams, he became a main character on one of my favourite television shows of all time. On a side note, few things crack me up more than hearing him speak perfect Korean on “Lost”, then hearing him speak perfect English in interviews. Just goes to show some of the talent he has up his sleeve!
