Fading of the Cries: Birds, Sword Fights and Brad Dourif

This is the preview for the upcoming “film” Fading of the Cries, which commenters on Youtube seem to find epic, but I find to be pretty dull. This movie looks as though it was made for TV, and I’ve seen better special effects in old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Before I actually go and look up the plot description, I’m going to guess this movie is about…um…birds…and…fights…and…uh…a covered bridge…and Brad Dourif. That’s all I’ve got. Here’s the offical plot summary according to Wikipedia (not even IMDb has much on this flick):

The Story tells of a young man who defends his town from evil forces, aided by a magic sword. He saves a girl called Sarah from a malevolent evil that has begun plaguing a farmland town, in search of an amulet that had belonged to Sarah’s uncle. The couple set out to get to Sarah’s house safely, while traveling through streets, fields, churches and underground tunnels, while being pursued by hordes of demonic creatures.

Well, I don’t know about you, but I’ll be skipping this one. This strikes me as a really amateurish movie made from a really amateurish screenplay. The kind of thing that someone wrote in grade 4. And man, this trailer is just garbage. The music does nothing to inspire me to see this film, and the title cards don’t even use capital letters. Ridiculous. Who thought this was a good idea?

Okay, rant over.
