Seres: Genesis has it all! Archaeologists! Ancient civilisations! A bacteria that can kill the entire human race! A creepy little kid! UFO’s! Aliens! Zombie-human demon creatures that might also be aliens! Government conspiracies! And it’s only the first movie in a trilogy! Exclamation points!!!!!
I’m sure Seres: Genesis is going to be a fun time, but I dunno, I think they went a little overboard here. I mean, maybe the whole Seres trilogy might just be like six really good X-Files episodes back to back, but I just have this uneasy feeling that I’ll finish this film feeling like I ate too much candy. It’s possible to have too much of a good thing.
