In tribute to today’s birthday boy, here’s some really obscure footage of Keanu Reeves from the 1980s Canadian kids show, Going Great. This was a news magazine-type show on CBC that focused on the unique accomplishments of children and in one of his very first jobs ever, a young Keanu Reeves worked as one of their correspondents. Yes, I can’t believe I just typed the words “Keanu Reeves” and “correspondent” in the same sentence! In this segment, Keanu demonstrates his crack journalism skills when he covers the Canadian International Teddy Bear Convention.
