Uwe Boll Hits A New Low

Warning: This video is in pretty poor taste.

Let’s face facts, people: Uwe Boll is a crappy, crappy filmmaker, and while I don’t personally know the guy, he seems like a pretty big jerk too. This man has made some of the worst movies in recent memory, two of which – House of the Dead and Alone in the Dark – are on the IMDb’s worst 100 movies of all time list. He bases many of his movies on popular video game properties, which he then butchers beyond recognition, and if anyone criticizes his work, he challenges them to a boxing match. He is so disliked that someone started an online petition to stop him from making movies, to which he mockingly responded: “18,000 is not enough to convince me. One million. Now we have a new goal.” At the time of this writing, the petition is hovering somewhere around 360,000 signatures – still a long way to go, unfortunately.

Well, if you didn’t have a reason to sign that petition before, it looks like Mr. Boll has provided a good one. He has made a movie about Auschwitz. Yes, the man who brought us Bloodrayne II: Deliverance and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale is now trying his hand at Nazi Germany. Worst idea ever? I think so. C’mon, Uwe. Just stop already. Please?

Oh, and in case you didn’t recognize him, that’s Uwe Boll himself as the guard outside the gas chamber.
