Celebrity Birthday of the Day – September 10

Chris Columbus is not the guy who discovered America. He is a highly successful writer and director in Hollywood. He has directed such classic family films as Adventures in Babysitting, Home Alone 1 & 2, Mrs. Doubtfire, Bicentennial Man, and the first two Harry Potter films. But he is also a very accomplished script-writer. He wrote some very popular movies prior to taking off as a director. With the scripts of Gremlins 1 & 2 and The Goonies under his belt, he has definitely proven to be a master of family-oriented movies that appeal to all age groups. I hope he still has some tricks up his sleeve for the future.
