It’s an exciting time to be a gamer, people! Between this, Lord of the Rings Online, Need For Speed World, Dungeons and Dragons Online and the upcoming Guild Wars 2, it seems like we’re at the start of an era where online games are available to everyone completely free of charge! Sure, if you want the really big, cool and pretty stuff for your character you’ll still have to buy it, but if you, like me, are a bit of a cheapskate when it comes to games and don’t want to pay $60 plus online fees, you’re in luck, because all of these games can be played without paying a cent. Kotaku recently took a look at Firefall‘s team-based third-person-shooter action and has a short rundown of the gameplay and the demo, which you can read here. Personally, I think Firefall looks like a lotta fun, and I can’t wait to give it a try. Viva la gaming revolucione!
