In Trafalgar Square, the night before the release of Halo: Reach, people gathered to watch some dudes dressed in Spartan armor linger around while another one soared over top of them all on a jetpack before landing shakily amongst their ranks. I dunno. I mean, this is pretty cool, and it’s neat to see real-life jetpacks are getting ever closer to Rocketeer status, but at this point in time they just don’t compare to video game jetpacks. The title of this post might be a bit premature on my part, but I’m hoping the jetpacks in Halo: Reach allow for much more impressive maneuvers than this one.
That being said, I’d still love one of these for my birthday, if anyone’s brainstorming gift ideas…
