Before They Were Stars: Nathan Fillion in “Saving Private Ryan”

This is one of those “Before They Were Stars” cases where most of you have probably already seen the featured clip, but had no idea that it involved someone who went on to become a star. This is the amusing scene in Saving Private Ryan where the squad winds up tracking down the wrong Private Ryan, who is played by Nathan Fillion in one of his earliest roles. Since Mr. Fillion has made it big now, I have no idea why they haven’t tried to make a spin-off movie about the wrong Private Ryan with Neil Patrick Harris in the Tom Hanks role.
