How Iron Man 2 Should Have Started

Iron Man 2 was one of those movies that had a lot of stuff in the trailer that didn’t wind up in the final cut, and this opening is a prime example. Personally, I think this opening scene is way better than the one that wound up in the finished film. Here we actually get to see Tony Stark becoming a bit unhinged, and the banter between him and Pepper Potts is great stuff that I found Iron Man 2 to be sorely lacking. The fact that this awesome opening was cut reeks of studio interference to me, and I really hope that a director’s cut edition of the DVD comes out where this scene is re-inserted.
