A Tribute to Tony Curtis (1925-2010)

I was going to write a lengthy post about Hollywood icon Tony Curtis, who died today at age 85, but Michael Caine does a much better job of paying him tribute than I ever could. I was never a die-hard Tony Curtis fan, but I loved him in Spartacus and the rather underrated The Great Race. But as Caine says, Curtis’ legacy is the terrific Billy Wilder film Some Like It Hot, which really is one of the best comedies ever made. So here’s a classic scene from Some Like It Hot. I still laugh every time I watch this. Rest in peace, Tony.
