Black Dynamite, the hilarious blaxploitation homage/parody starring Michael Jai White, is getting its own cartoon! Adult Swim has picked up the series (debut date TBA), and it’s going to feature most of the cast as voice talent, including White in the leading role! Producer Jillian Apfelbaum has this to say:
The Black Dynamite Animated Series further chronicles the exploits of Black Dynamite and his crew. Executive produced by Carl Jones (The Boondocks, Freaknik: The Musical), the series features the voice talents of Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley, Byron Minns, Clifton Powell and JB Smoove.
