That’s right – the very game that defined the term “vaporware” is finally being released on February 1st, 2011, but even with this rather compelling evidence to support the fact that the long lost Duke game is coming out soon, I still can’t quite believe it. Duke Nukem 3D is 14 years old now, and ever since its success, we gamers have had Duke Nukem Forever dangled in front of our noses like the carrot dangling in front of the donkey to make it go. 3D Realms strung us along for years – over a decade, even – with its promises of a Duke Nukem game to end all Duke Nukem games, but never delivered. And now it’s coming out. Like I said, I’ll believe it when I see it. This had better not be a hoax.
Although, if it is, it’s a pretty good one.
