Yoshie Zero: Tentacle Girl

There are a lot of things that Japan just does better than us here in North America, and one of them is create totally bizarre movies that are somehow imbued with this odd childlike innocence. Take a look at this trailer for Yoshie Zero, a movie that I can’t find any information on at all, which appears to be your standard coming-of-age high school romantic comedy…except the main character is a girl whose arms can transform into tentacles. What the heck?! Say what you will about Japan, but they have a serious talent for making me do double-takes.
