Joaquin Phoenix is extremely talented. And all of his celebrity has come only in the last decade. Starting with Gladiator, he was quick to show us that he was a force to be reckoned with. He showed us a slightly comedic side in Signs, and of course, blew everyone away as Johnny Cash in Walk the Line. Oh yeah, and there was that elaborate prank he pulled with Casey Affleck to try to convince the world he was a disgraced rap star. I don’t want to guess how that will affect his career, but since its release, he only has one film in development. Take from that what you will.
