I don’t have to write anything about Martin Scorsese. He is a brilliant director. From his old stuff (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull) and his more modern ventures (Goodfellas, Cape Fear, Casino, Bringing Out the Dead) to his new stuff (Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, “Boardwalk Empire”), his work speaks for itself. He is 68, which means if he lasts as long as Clint Eastwood, we can look forward to enjoying Scorsese films for at LEAST another 20 years!
