Before They Were Stars: Daniel Radcliffe in “David Copperfield”

With the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows finally hitting theatres today, it’s only appropriate that Daniel Radcliffe get some exposure on “Before They Were Stars”. Believe it or not, the kid already had a bit of an acting career before Harry Potter took over his life, as he made his debut role playing the young version of the title character in a 1999 BBC version of David Copperfield. Appropriately enough, Maggie Smith also starred in this, so here’s a rare chance to see Harry and McGonagall interacting before they wound up at Hogwarts together.
