Evil Puppets on Family Matters

Jaleel White’s birthday is this weekend, but I couldn’t be bothered to wait to post this. Little known fact about me: I actually watched a lot of Family Matters in my younger years. It wasn’t because I was a big fan of the show, it was because Family Matters aired every afternoon just before The Simpsons. I got home from school right before Family Matters, so I’d unwind after a long day of learning to procrastinate by watching the Family Matters/Simpsons double-bill. The show’s humour was usually grounded in reality, but every now and again the show would go nuts and throw in some supernatural zaniness like these evil puppets. Perhaps unsurprisingly, these were always the best episodes.
