In honour of today’s birthday boy, I feel it’s only fitting to feature this clip from a Princess Bride retrospective which talks about Inigo Montoya – one of the greatest swordsmen in all of cinema. Mandy Patinkin did all of his own swordfighting in The Princess Bride, and man is it ever impressive. I used to own a wooden sword as a kid and practice the fight atop the cliffs of insanity for hours on end. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go watch The Princess Bride for the gazillionth time.
