Whoa! This movie came out of nowhere for me. I hadn’t heard anything about it until I saw this preview, and now that I have all I can say is…WHOA. Hanna looks absolutely insane. It’s like a darker, less comic book-y version of the Big Daddy/Hit Girl relationship from Kick-Ass, and that’s just fine by me. The dynamic between Big Daddy and Hit Girl was one of my favourite things about Kick-Ass, so to see a movie built on a similar premise – a movie starring Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett and Olivia Williams, at that – sounds like a fun time to me! And hey – the Chemical Brothers are doing the soundtrack! Bonus! While this does have the potential to be pretty bad, I’m hoping that it will turn out to be the crazy, fun time that this preview makes it out to be.
