Maggie Smith is a British actress who has managed to make a name for herself time and time again over the course of 5 decades. In the ’60s, she appeared in Othello with Laurence Olivier, Hot Millions, and the title character in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. The ’70s brought us Murder By Death and Death on the Nile. In the ’80s, we were treated to Clash of the Titans, Better Late Than Never, and A Room With a View. The ’90s showed Maggie shine in Hook, Sister Act 1 &2, The Secret Garden, and The First Wives Club. This past decade shot Maggie Smith to fame amoung the younger crowds with her role as Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter films. But she not only catered to youth this decade. The older crowd can also enjoy her in Gosford Park and Keeping Mum. She is 76 today and has three new films in development.
