Sorry about all the capitals and exclamation marks in the title of this post, but I had to get your attention somehow. Prisoners of Gravity is a totally wicked show that was broadcast on TVOntario from 1989 until 1994 – right in the midst of my formative years. I remember watching this show obsessively as a kid, and I always loved the opening sequence. Prisoners of Gravity stars Rick Green (whom you may recognize as Bill from The Red Green Show) as Commander Rick, a man stranded on a space station who spends his time studying comics and sci-fi/fantasy literature. While that may not sound particularly interesting at a glance, keep in mind that this show features interviews from the likes of Neil Gaiman and Alan Moore! Anybody who loves comics, fantasy or science fiction should check this show out. I highly recommend it. I’ve included the episode on Watchmen for your enjoyment, but there are loads of them on Youtube. Look under the cut for parts 2 and 3!
