Mr. Oizo’s psychic killer tire movie Rubber finally has an official trailer…and it’s sooooo awesome! I’m just positively delighted to see that the movie is using all the tropes and cliches of your standard Natural Born Killers– or Bonnie and Clyde-like murderers on the run movie and putting a psychic rubber tire at the centre of it! The film has already garnered much critical acclaim on the festical circuit, and I really can’t wait to see it.
No word yet as to whether Rubber will ever get a wide theatrical release, but something tells me that the niche market for this movie is a bit narrow for cinemas and it will wind up going straight to DVD. Shame, though. I’d love to see this on the big screen!
