Celebrity Birthday of the Day – January 20

When you say the name David Lynch to film buffs, more times than not, they will shudder, slowly fall to the floor, curl up into a fetal position, and cry. That is because David Lynch is responsible for some of the most obscure and mentally challenging work in history. Everything from Eraserhead, Dune, Blue Velvet, and “Twin Peaks” to the more recent Lost Highway, Mulholland Dr., and Rabbits. Of course, I would be remiss to omit mention of The Elephant Man, which is far less obscure than everything else mentioned here. But all in all, the work of David Lynch is terrifyingly odd and magnificently confusing.
