Ever watched a terrible, badly acted movie and forgotten about it for several years, only to find out later that one of those bad actors has become a multiple-time Academy Award nominee? Well, that’s the case with Amy Adams, who has just earned her third Oscar nomination in six years and is a long, LONG way from one of her embarrassing early role in the direct-to-video sequel, Cruel Intentions 2. In this film, she filled the Sarah Michelle Gellar role and played the naughty stepsister, and needless to say, her acting has improved leaps and bounds. I’m sure Amy is quite grateful she doesn’t have to utter dialogue like this any more:
“Is there any line you won’t cross?”
“Only one. Never in the butt.”
