Christian Bale seems to be the odds-on favourite to win the “Best Supporting Actor” Oscar this year for his phenomenal performance in The Fighter, and I hope he uses his acceptance speech to give thanks to Pac-Man Cereal for getting him his start in the business. Before this, young Christian had also acted in a commercial for Leonor fabric softener, but sadly, no footage of it seems to be available. Unconfirmed rumours are that he dropped 60 pounds for his role in the fabric softener commercial, but bulked up again for the cereal ad.
