To celebrate the reopening of the Royal Shakespeare and Swan theatres after three years of renovations, the Royal Shakespeare Company commissioned the Brothers McLeod to create a bunch of animated shorts about Billy Shakespeare and his pig Francis looking for inspiration. The one above depicts Shakespeare’s creative process for writing Macbeth. The one below sees him writing Antony and Cleopatra.
