To celebrate George Romero’s birthday today, I’ve unearthed a couple of old commercials he directed before he made Night of the Living Dead. The first one is a cheesy ad for Calgon water softener, which is intended as a parody of Fantastic Voyage, and the second one is an ad for Duke beer, which I’m sure will go over very well with feminists.
