We here at the Back Row love George Romero, and so to celebrate his birthday, I’m posting the entirety of his seminal zombie classic Night of the Living Dead. Originally titled Night of the Flesh Eaters, Night of the Living Dead slipped into the public domain when the film’s original distributor – the Walter Reade Organization – forgot to put a copyright notice on the movie’s title card. Now you can find copies of Night of the Living Dead just about anywhere, which is pretty freaking awesome. It’s even on Youtube! They’re coming to get you, Barbara….
