Robin already covered this in his awesome article Ten Great Death Scenes from Ten Not-So-Great Horror Movies, but I just can’t resist reposting it. Since it’s Paris Hilton’s birthday, I figure it’s only right that I honour her by sharing with you guys the only time I’ve ever enjoyed seeing her: in her head-popping death scene in the crummy remake of House of Wax. I usually like to point out that there aren’t any brains on the end of that pole, but Robin totally nailed it with this quote from his article:
You cannot tell me that there isn’t some intentional phallic imagery on display here! This Youtube comment probably says it best: “Paris Hilton died exactly how she lived. On her hands and knees with a pole in her face”.
