Before They Were Stars: 4-Year Old Drew Barrymore in a Pillsbury Commercial

I thought it would be impossible to do a “Before They Were Stars” feature on today’s birthday girl, Drew Barrymore, since she was only seven years old when she found great fame in E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial. However, Drew already had a couple of television commercials on her resume at that point, making her acting debut in a dog food commercial when she was only eleven months old! I can’t find any footage of that particular ad, but she did also do a commercial for Pillsbury Cookie Dough when she was four. She even got to cross paths with the Doughboy himself and it’s pretty weird hearing him with a different voice!
