Johnny Cash was a popular singer in the ’50s and ’60s, and his music is still very popular today. It has appeared on numerous film soundtracks, television shows, and, of course, the biopic Walk the Line, in which Joaquin Phoenix took on the role of Cash (and did a marvelous job). With the unmistakable baritone voice, when Johnny Cash is singing, it cannot be ignored. He died in September of 2003 at the age of 71.
