John Turturro is a great actor who never fails to crack me up. From early roles in such films as Hannah and Her Sisters, Desperately Seeking Susan, Miller’s Crossing, Fearless, and Quiz Show to the more recent The Big Lebowski, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Mr. Deeds, Anger Management, and Secret Window. And of course, he is also a character in the Transformers franchise. I was pleasantly surprised to see him in a straight and dramatic role in The Taking of Pelham 123, and I also loved him as Adrian’s brother, Ambrose, in three episodes of “Monk”.
