Several years ago, one of my biggest hobbies was collecting Japanese wrestling tapes. Even though the wrestling matches themselves were terrific, most people thought I was insane for paying money for these tapes since the commentary was all in Japanese. But even though I couldn’t understand what the commentators were saying, my response was always: “Who CARES what they’re saying?!”. Japanese wrestling commentators can work themselves into such an hysterical orgasmic frenzy that listening to them provides wonderful entertainment value. I mean, you never hear a North American broadcaster get this hyper and excited about any sport, real or fake! In fact, you rarely ever hear ANYONE get this excited about ANYTHING!
