Oh man, I love it when good news comes outta nowhere. Spike Jonze, one of my favourite directors, is teaming up with The Arcade Fire, one of my favourite bands, for a short film! It looks to be a gritty, unusual little movie about the military invading a suburb – at least, that’s what I’m getting from this trailer. After Jonze’s last short film about robots in love blew me away, I can’t wait to see what he does with this one!
Scenes From The Suburbs is heading straight-to-DVD sometime in the reasonably near future. As soon as I know more, so will you.
