Jim Henson’s The Wizard Of Id

In 1969, Jim Henson shot a short pilot for a TV adaptation of the popular comic strip The Wizard of Id! It wasn’t picked up immediately, and by the time any interest was expressed, Henson was already busy with Sesame Street. I’ve never been a big fan of The Wizard of Id, but by gum, if this show had been picked up when I was a kid, I’m sure I’d be a huge fan by now!
