Now this is just too sweet. Adhesive Games, an indie game developer, is working on a first-person perspective mech combat game called Hawken! It’s hard to believe that it’s been a decade since the last Mechwarrior game came out, and I guess it’s a bit telling that I had almost completely forgotten about the mech combat genre of video games before Webmaster Mike sent this trailer my way, but I think that now is the perfect time to bring mechs back onto our gaming systems. With video game graphics looking as good as they do now, I think Hawken is going to be a much-needed return to a bygone genre. I simply cannot wait to play this…but wait, I must.
