John Milius is a writer and director who seems to have fallen out of the limelight in recent years. He is responsible for directing Dillinger, Conan the Barbarian, Red Dawn, Farewell to the King, and Flight of the Intruder. He also did script work on titles like Dirty Harry, Jaws, Apocalypse Now, 1941, Clear and Present Danger, and is also the creator of the HBO series, “Rome”. He does have one film in development, set to be released in 2013, called Genghis Khan.
