David Letterman is known, of course, for hosting “The Late Show With David Letterman”. He was publically irate that he was not chosen as the host of “The Tonight Show” when Johnny Carson retired, and this has led to years of entertaining jokes and mock feuds with Jay Leno. The whole Jay Leno / Conan O’Brien fiasco must have had Letterman chuckling himself to sleep every night. I like Dave. I find him funny, intelligent, and surprisingly eloquent. But I guess that’s why he gets paid the big bucks.
